The Springfield Armory Enhanced Micro Pistol (EMP) is the first production 1911 made to shoot either the 9mm or 40 S&W cartridge resulting in one of the smallest most concealable 1911s made. The EMP features a dual recoil spring assembly to reduce felt recoil and help maintain the compactness of this 1911. Additionally, the Springfield Armory EMP makes use of a full length guide rod, a long aluminum match grade trigger, combat sights, and thinline cocobolo wood grips. The EMP comes with two magazines, holster and magazine pouch.

A versatile two-point design which allows for a variety of carry and shooting positions. 2. A quick adjustment capability to enable the shooter to quickly change the sling length and yet have no excess material to flap or tangle. 3. The ability for the shooter to use various attachment methods or hardware. 4. Superior materials and stitching. This sling utilizes a exclusive quick adjust buckle and includes a removable Fastex quick release and connector strap at the buttstock end which is compatible with all modular female adapters (sold separately). This sling is ready to attach to issue M4 carbines or other weapons which have provision for side sling connections.

Springfield has taken the venerable XDM and made it into a compact handgun that is suitable for concealed carry. The XDM Compact features a 3.8" barrel and either a 19 or 13 round magazine capacity. The 19 round magazine has a X-Tension so that the magazine seats flush with the grip of the XDM Compact.
